◘ Installation
The valve is only suitable for installation in horizontal pipeline. The
direction
of flow must correspond with the arrow on the body. The valve bonnet,
including the actuator, must hong downwards. To keep the valve free of
condensate, the pipeline must be installed with a slight fall on either
side. the
pressure tap should be arranged about I m downstream of the valve.
Because of the increase in volume associated with the reduction in steam
pressure, it is often necessary to enlarge the pipeline on the downstream
side
of the controller. The conical expansion piece shown in the dimensional
drawing is suitable for this propose.

◘ Application
Accessories for type 39-2. The
following accessories are necessary
to assure the operation pressure
controllers mentioned above.
◘ Condensation Chamber
For steam condensation and for the protection of the operating diaphragm
from excessive temperatures.
◘ Screw Joint 3/8" with orifice plate
For the connection of the control line to the actuator of the
controller.
◘ Water injection gate
For the filling of the actuator, the condensation chamber, and the
control line with a cold liquid corresponding with the controlled medium.
◘ Control Line (3/8" pipe)
For the pressure transmission to the diaphragm of the actuator. The
delivery of the control line is not provided.
◘ Conical Expansion piece
To double the outlet diameters in case of steam or gaseous fluids. The
delivery of the control line is not provided.
