Vacuum Breaker Valve
TYPE: VBV
◘
Typical applications:
☼ Tanks
☼ Boiler Feeding lines
☼ Boiler pipes
☼ Tanks feeding and discharging lines
☼ Condensate drain lines
◘ Application:
In the liquid pipelines, where vacuum is present This vacuum inhibit the
circulation of the liquids in the pipelines, so the efficiency and the
safety of the system decreases. During draining the liquid vessels and
pipelines, vacuum is formed.
VBV is a small equipment designed for general
applications in condensing vapor (steam) or liquid systems and related
vessels.
◘ Mode of operation:
The produced vacuum guides the provided shot upward in such away to open
the air inlet line. The air enter to the vacuumed space and when the
pressure is adjusted to the atmosphere , the shot will return to its own
original location again.
◘ Installation:
VBV must be installed vertically from (½")
installation point to the System.
